Erdrique (Level 15 Druid) is diligently working through the level 11 quests which include the Necro III quests, with one of these quests being the Tomb of the Unhallowed. I think the Tomb of the Unhallowed is one of the more fun quests in this pack (in my humble opinion anyway). The quest giver is Lady Vienne, who is quite frankly a little stuck up and tauts her “stature” a little too much. In any case, she eventually tones down her attitude and asks for your assistance in completing and destroying the guarding of the Tomb of the Unhallowed, Amahte.
The quest layout is shaped as a diamond with extensions or hallways extending from each point of the diamond. When you enter the dungeon, you enter in the middle of the diamond and you need to unlock each altar, which then unlocks a protective guardian for Amahte. As you unlock one altar you then proceed to the next point to unlock the next altar, it is pretty straightforward and linear quest.
The traps in the Tomb of the Unhallowed are primarily spiked traps, which are generally easily avoidable. However, the variety of the monsters in quest is interesting. You will encounter wights, ghouls, a variety of skeletons, wraiths, specters, zombies, a variety of cultists, a giant skeleton, a vampire, a flesh golem, and a quell, not to mention red-named mummy.
However, one of the best things about this quest is watching the cultist struggle with the undead. As you progress through the quest you come across a number of encounters where the undead mobs are fighting with cultists. It also makes you ponder why this is occurring but it is funny as you come across a room to watch the undead taking it to the cultists and the cultists pleading with the undead saying that they are supposed to be on “their” side.
The Tomb of the Unhallowed is a fun quest, much more easier to play that some of the other quests in this chain. Well that is it for now, thanks for reading everybody and happy hunting!!
