Starting off 2017 with Some Questing

I have been writing up short summaries of my quest runs for quite a while now.  I mainly do this to highlight the various types of quest there are in DDO and for me to help track my own progress over time.  I used to do compile two blogs a week to highlight these runs, one blog post would track my questing from Mondays to Thursdays and the second post would highlight my questing from Friday through Sunday.  With the start of the new year I want to continue the general thoughts of summarizing my questing runs but I want to one post to cover the week. Of course, this blog will cover two weeks, since I didn’t get a chance to do one last week :(.

To start the new year off, I took Erdrique  (Level 10 Bard) and Sttollen (Level 11 Rogue) through Mirra’s Sleepless Nights, Purge the Herectics, Sorrowdusk Isle, The Iron Mines: Freeing Achka, and The Iron Mines: Justice for Grust.  While making my way through Mirra’s Sleepless Nights I completed the optional for locating and destroying the source of the wailing.  In Purge the Heretics, I completed the optional objectives to slaughter the halfling mercenaries and all of the commoners.  When I went into Sorrowdusk Isle, to pick up and start the quests for Grey Moon, I collected 125 slayers for Erdrique and Sttollen, located all explorer points; collected the awards for slaying 10, 25, 50, and 100 slayers; and located and defeated Teargon, Furley, and Saate.  Once inside  the Iron Mines, I came across the rare encounter Powder in Freeing Achka and in Justice for Grust I defeated Corrosion, Chef Grank, and Champion Prienyl.  However, while running through Justice for Grust, Erdrique got  squashed by an ogre champion, which made the quest quite interesting.

On January 2, I took Erdrique and Sttollen into the Searing Heights explorer area to kick things out for the day. While out there, I collected 226 slayers for Erdrique and Sttollen.  Erdrique also picked up a monster manual deed for orc hunter and received 2.260 experience.  Both Erdrique and Sttollen collected the rewards for 10, 25, 50, 100, and 200 kills.  The kills included the rare encounters for the first mate, Ghamzee, Calcine, Giallo, and Itharn Ushu.  Erdrique also collected all of the explorer points.  Later in the day, I took Erdrique and Sttollen back into Searing Heights and this time I collected all of the explorer points with Sttollen.  I also collected 138 more slayers and collected the rare encounters for Shute Ruggzen, Hazai Haatha, and Cruor Russo.

I didn’t log back into DDO until Wednesday, January 4th.  I took Garrrin (Level 23 Barbarian/Primal Avatar) out into the King’s Forrest.  While out there, Garrrin collected 45 slayers including six dire bears and one astral panther.  Shortly after that run, I then logged Hamllin (Level 20 Fighter/Shadow Dancer) and took him into the quest Memoirs of an Illusionary Larcenor on heroic elite.  It was the first time I tried this particular quest and I wasn’t quite sure what to expect.  I’m embarrassed to say that I wound up getting killed near to the end fight, primarily because I wasn’t paying attention to the fact my cleric hireling went down.  But I did my revenge, eventually :).

For Thursday, I started my questing by dual boxing with Cannock (Level 8 Druid) and Crawlller (Level 8 Ranger) into Tangleroot Gorge.  Crawlller already has this area maxed out but Cannock collected another 50 slayers before I switched characters out.  They also took out the wandering giant, Kroshk.  Later that night, I logged on with Containment (Level 8 Cleric) and Cannock (once again) and took them through The Cloven Jaw Scourge: Caverns of Shaagh.  Making my through that part of Shan-to-Kor, I completed the optional objectives for slaying the three ogres, slaying the three witch doctors, the three large elementals, and 75 hobgoblins.  Dealing with the champions, Containment collected 15 mysterious remnants and Cannock collected 11.

To kick off the weekend, I took Tuhnn (Level 16 Bladeforged) out into the Sands of Menechtarun for my regular slayer run.  I forgot to record my slayer numbers but I did collect a monster manual deed for zombie exterminator and finished locating all of the explorer points.  Tuhnn also looted a pair of the Gloves of the Falcon.  After that run, I took Hamllin back into Memoirs of an Illusionary Larcener and this time I was able to complete it on heroic elite with little difficulty.  That night, I logged on with Erdrique and Sttollen and I took them, first, through Gladewatch Outpost and then the Forgotten Caverns.  While in Gladewatch Outpost, Erdrique picked 50 mysterious remnants and while in Forgotten Caverns they took out the optional for slaying Moldfang.  After running through the Forgotten Caverns, I took Erdrique and Sttollen out into Tangleroot Gorge and completed Doom of the Witch Doctor: The Way to Zulkash and Doom of the Witch Doctor: Zulkash, Herald of Woe.  To close out the night, I took Erdrique and Sttollen into Devil Assault and defeated all of the waves.  In that run, Erdrique collected 17 mysterious remnants and Sttollen collected eight.

Continuing with my weekend runs, on Saturday I logged back on with Erdrique and Sttollen and I took them through the quest Dead Predators, The Bounty Hunter, Caged Trolls, and the Bloody Crypt.  While in the Bounty Hunter, Erdrique collected another monster manual deed for warforged hunter gaining him 471 experience.  We also collected the optional objectives for freeing Annelisa and killing the troll chieftain and Ras Clowery.  Erdrique picked up two more monster manual deeds in Caged Trolls, dwarf exterminator (1,130 experience) and dwarf hunter (2,260 experience).  We also completed the optional objective of plundering the Emerald Claw’s treasure cache.  The end the night, in the Bloody Crypt we collected the optional objective for slaying Gullet the Famished, defeating the Black Abbot’s legion, and slaying three priests of the Crimson Heart, Burning Heart, Immortal Heart, and Sanguine Heart.

The beginning of the second week, I started out by taking Stoorage (Level 15 Fighter) and Izmit (Level 15 Shadar-ki) into Caged Trolls and The Bounty Hunter for some simple favor runs.  I completed the optional for plundering the Emerald Claw’s treasure cache in Cage Trolls and for the Bounty Hunter we completed the optional objectives for freeing Annelisa and slaying the troll chieftain and Ras Clowery.

On Monday, January 9th I logged on with Stoorage once again and this time I dual boxed with my other fighter Charlock (Level 16).  I took them into the Red Fens to work on another slayer run.  While out there, Stoorage collected 118 more slayers (with the help of a slayer potion) while Charlock collected 95 more slayers.  They also encountered Sharkbiter and Vyk Ka.  Shortly after that run, I logged on with Erdrique and Sttollen and I took them through the quest, Bargain of Blood.  I completed the optional objectives for finding the Deneith party, freeing the slaves, and destroying the assassination logbook.  That night, I switched characters and logged on with Wapoyei (Level 24 Cleric/Divine Crusader) and I took him into the High Road while I was also playing with our digital PNP game.  Wapoyei collected 81 more slayers and completed the random encounters for Wild Warriors, Trader Travels, and the Wood Woad.  I collected one Commendation: Cleric of Amaunator.

I took Wapoyei into The High Road, once again, to start things off on Thursday.  Wapoyei collected 40 slayers and came across the random encounter for Spectral Sightings.  After my slayer run, I took Hamllin into the quest Seigebreaker.  Hamllin looted a Mark of the Tzaryan Rrac and Garments of Equilibrium.  I completed the optional objectives for settng the tents on fire, poisoning the water supply, destroying the crates of provisions, and blowing up the explosive stockpiles.  He also defeated Tinkerstab, Skinny, Major Pain, and Brinky.  To end the night, I took Sludgge (Level 22 Rogue/Shadowdancer) into the Chains of Flame on epic normal.  Sludgge collected a monster manual deed for mephit exterminator I and earned 423 experience.  Making his way through the multiple levels of the Burning City, he collected five fragments of the Token of the Twelve and a complete Token of the Twelve.  He also collected 11 commendations of valor as a quest reward.  As for the optional objectives, he spoke to Valgrim Force-Bound, defeated Valgrim’s elemental guards, freed Valgrim Force-Bound, spoke to Erath the Blinded, transferred Erath’s curse, defeated the ogre mages, and freed Erath.

Back to Being Productive, Quest Runs December 11th to December 13th

Unlike the weekend prior, this past weekend was far from disappointing and was actually quite productive.  The weekend started out by dual boxing with Stoorage (Level 13 Fighter) and Kanndar (Level 13 Paladin) who I took out into the Red Fens.  My explorer runs continued in the afternoon when I took Hamllin (Level 17 Fighter) back out into the Sands of Menechtarun and continued with the gathering up of gnolls and scorrow slayers.  Then that night, I logged on with Erdrique (Level 24 Rogue/Primal Avatar) and I went out into the Dreaming Dark and worked my way through that quest on elite.  I didn’t have any issues (besides getting aggravated the light and heavy gravity jumping) until I got to the end fight.  The Devourer of Dreams and his living nightmares were quite tough.  I died a number of times but I received help from Hellorcish and together we were able to complete the quest.  We then headed out to the Storm Horns and tackled the quest What Goes Up on elite.  Unlike the weekend previous, I was able to make my way through this quest and with Hell’s help we were able to complete it on heroic elite :).  I called it a night after that.

Stoorage pondering the beauty of the Red Fens.

Nothing like a gnoll to ruin a pleasant day in the Desert.

Erdrique taking note of the large floating purple orb in the Dreaming Dark.

Exploring the Storm Horns once again.

Erdrique is once again in What Goes Up but with more help this time!!

On Saturday, I logged back on with Erdrique and this time I took him out to Amrath, the floating segment of rock above the plane of Shavarath and the Devil’s Battlefield.  Looking at my Adventure Compendium, we headed out into the battlefield and located the quest entrance for Wrath of Flame.  I was joined by Hellsbain and Friedrice and we entered the quest on elite and had little difficulty dealing with Malicia and her minions.  After we completed that quest we made our way over to the Weapons Shipment and entered that quest on elite.  We plowed our way through the quest and lasted round after round of tieflings, hell hounds, orthons, and bearded devils.  We completed the quest and I was pleasantly surprised to be awarded the Mysterious Bauble and Hellsbain was granted the Shimmering Arrowhead.  We then headed back out into the battlefield to take on another quest.  This time we headed to the quest Sins of Attrition and made our way through that multilevel based taking on the various devil legions.  I was expecting on running into some issues here with dungeon alert but luckily we didn’t reach anything higher than green :).  We made our way through pretty painlessly :).  We ended our quest running after we completed Sins of Attrition.

Just waiting for trouble to come pouring out of that portal.

The Crawlers prepping to deal with the forces in Sins of Attrition.

My questing continued on Sunday.  I logged on early with Erdrique and I took him into Ataraxia’s Haven to work on some slayers out there.  Again, I am sorely behind in his wilderness zones.  After that run, I took Erdrique back into House Cannith and decided to run some challenges.  I still really want to upgrade my Ring of the Stalker and Spare Hand to its highest tier.  I ran Dr. Rushmore’s Mansion:Picture Portals and then moved over to the Extraplanar Palace:Buy Time which I ran three times.  I did those runs in the afternoon between setting up Christmas decorations and doing chores :).  Sunday night, I logged on with Harrgon (Level 11 Favored Soul) and Suppply (Level 10 Paladin) and I started to dual box them through Purge the Heretics on elite.  Khameltoe then joined up with me and we made our way through Dead Predators, Caged Trolls, and The Bounty Hunter on elite.  We called it a night after Bounty Hunter.

So compared to the weekend prior, this past weekend was much more productive.  On Saturday, as we were making our way through the Devil’s Battlefield I leveled Erdrique up to 24 :).  I was also able to get through two of the more tougher quests on elite, What Goes Up and the Dreaming Dark.  Now to finish the Amrath quests, which will also be very difficult.  To top things off I was fortunate to get a Mysterious Bauble as well.

Thanks for reading everybody and happy hunting in the Devil’s Battlefield!!

Looking Back at My Quest Filled Week, Quest Runs June 8th to June 11th

Well to start off the week, I actually did some adventuring in Neverwinter Nights II OC during this past Monday morning because the DDO game servers were offline for maintenance.  So that morning I took Ragnar and his band further into the city of Neverwinter and into the Moonstone Mask to find out more about the whereabouts of a crime lord.  Later that afternoon, after I got back home and DDO was back online, I took Erdrique (Level 10 Rogue) through the quest Dead Predators.  Later that night, I logged on with Kolll (Level 22 Ranger/Shiradi Champion) and took him into the The Prisoner and The Jungle of Khyber on epic hard.

On Tuesday, I started my questing by taking Kanndar (Level 12 Paladin) into Sorrowdusk Isle.  He is slowly collecting his slayers that area but he is getting there.  That afternoon, I continued with my slayer runs by taking Hamllin (Level 16 Fighter) into the Red Fens where he continues to make his way through his slayers.  However, the more fun experience came that night when I logged back on with Kanndar and took him into The Pit.  I took Kanndar through the Pit on elite an enjoyed making my way through the complicated sewer system of House D.

I started off Wednesday by taking Harrgon (Level 11 Favored Soul) into the slayer zone he is currently working through, the pirate infested area of Three Barrel Cove.  Later that afternoon, I took Erdrique into the quest Graverobber.  Although Erdrique was level 10 at the time, he still had a number of level 7 quests to knock out that included the Graverobber.  He still has to complete the Sentinel Series, Gwylan’s Stand, Taming the Flames, and Tear of Dhakaan as well.  I’m hoping to knock those out this weekend, and of course I’m expecting to hit level 11 too :).  In either case, after the Graverobber I called it a day as far as questing is concerned because I spent that night hanging out with my wife for our weekly date night.

To wrap up the week, I took Cantlin (Level 12 Sorcerer) out into Sorrowdusk Isle.  I had some fun times burning up some ogres, trolls, and scorpions.  Later that afternoon, I took Hamllin back into the Red Fens and then later that night I took Hamllin into the Cannith Challenges to collect the rest of the Challenge ingredients for Erdrique.  So I ran through Dr. Rushmore’s Mansion: Picture Portals a few times and I was able to get enough jeweled goblets for Erdrique to upgrade his Challenge gear.  I then took Hamllin back into the Red Fens.

Overall it was nice set of runs.  I really enjoyed making my way through Epic VON II and III with Kolll and knocking out those quests with Erdrique.  I was also happy to get what I needed from the Cannith Challenges for Erdrique.  Nice week indeed!!  Hoping this weekend is just as good.  Thanks for reading everybody and happy hunting!!

A Mixture of Runs, Questing May 11th to May 14th

I had a nice variety of quest runs last week which all started out with a typical Monday morning slayer run with Cantlin (Level 12) who is working on completing his slayer and rare encounters out in Sorrowdusk Isle.  Cantlin still needs quite a bit out there, so the jungle foliage of Sorrowdusk can expect to be singed some more as he continues on his trek :).  Later that afternoon, I took Hamllin (Level 16) fighter back out into the Red Fens, where he is working on his 3,000 slayer mark.  Needless to say, he still has quite a bit left to slay before he hits that mark.  On Monday night, I logged on with Lorrikk (Level 12 Monk) and I took him through the quest Stromvauld’s Mine.  One of the thing’s with Stromvauld’s Mine is being able to find all of the miners (and if your luck, the gems) in your first run through of the map because in almost every instance you wind up over looking one and having to back track up the mine before to locate the one or two you missed so you can finish the quest.  However, luckily for me I was able to actually find all of the gems before entering the main chamber of the mine and had no issues finding the killed miners, so it was a really smooth run!!

I logged on with a higher level character to get things kicked off for Tuesday and for my morning slayer runs with Larrs (Level 20 Bard/Fatesinger).  Larrs is currently working on the Ruins of Gianthold (Heroic) slayers and I was able to notch up a few more slayers for him before I headed off to work.  That afternoon, I logged on with Erdrique (Level 9 Rogue) and I took him through the The Chamber of Insanity.  I didn’t run into any issues as I moved Erdrique through the quest.  Later that night I logged on with Garrrin (Level 22 Barbarian/Fury of the Wild) and some interesting times in VON 3 on epic hard, but I did get through it!!

Wednesday was a light day, as is typical for me when it comes to the middle of week.  Early in the morning, I took Containment (Level 6 Cleric) out into Tangleroot Gorge and continued to harass the hobgbolin’s that have made it their home.  In the afternoon, I logged on with Hamllin and took him back out into the swamps of the Red Fens.  After I made my circuit through the Red Fens, I then called it a night.

Thursday was a little more exciting, as I took Charlock (Level 14 Fighter) out into Sorrowdusk Isle for some slayers.  That afternoon, I brought Erdrique back on and took him into the Lair of Summoning.  Later on that night, I logged on with Cantlin, who I started the week out with, and took him through a few quests.  First I completed Dead Predators on elite and then I moved off to House Deneith to work on the Bounty Hunter on elite.  I then brought Cantlin back o House Jorasco and completed the Graverobber on elite and ended the night with yet some more slayers in Sorrowdusk Isle.

So overall, it was a nice little mixture of quest runs.  I hope everybody else had some fun last week as well!!  Thanks for reading and happy hunting!!

A Weekend of Experience, Questing November 21 to November 23

This weekend I ran an interesting set of quests.  The weekend started with Wapoyei (Level 23 Cleric/Exalted Angel) taking on some slayers and rares out in the High Road on Friday morning.  I was joined that morning by Friedrice and we ventured down the explorer area taking on the various Netherese and hobgoblin enemies.  That morning we only came across one rare encounter.  After we battled some of the wild forces in the High Road I logged out and headed off to work.  I didn’t log back in until later Friday night and because of that I logged on with Hamllin (Level 13 Fighter).  I had originally planned on logging in Hamllin right after work but my wife surprised me for my birthday but having my daughter come down and visiting us so we went out to eat for dinner.  So when our celebration was over I logged on and took Hamllin out into Ataraxia’s Haven and took him through the quest Sykro’s Jewel where he took on the scrags and duergar without having any issues.  After I completed Sykro’s Jewel I logged out Hamllin and logged in with Erdrique (Level 9 Monk) who I had originally planned on playing Friday night.  I was joined up with another guildie, Sontris, who has recently returned to the game after taking about a year or so off.  We decided to hit up a Cannith Challenge first, Dr. Rushmore’s Mansion: Behind the Door, which I thought we were going to fail until we found one lucky crest to open up the doorway to Ugg.  After we completed that challenge, we headed off to Redwillow’s Ruins, Mirra’s Sleepless Nights, Dead Predators, Purge the Heretics, and Caged Trolls.  We knocked them all out on elite with relatively little difficulty.  Once we completed the Caged Trolls we decided to call it a night.

On Saturday, I logged on with Erdrique once again and I was joined up with Sontris once again.  The first quest we attempted was the Lava Caves: The Circles of Power.  Unfortunately, we didn’t have a good map and there were no purple crystals anywhere near the base.  We did our best to collect enough crystals but it was a pretty doomed adventure, lol.  After that attempt, Sontris logged out and then I took Erdrique to Delera’s and ran the first two quests on elite: The Mystery of Delera’s Tomb and The Missing Party.  The Missing Party netted Erdrique well over 20,000 experience :).  After that run I called it a night.

Sunday I was scheduled to log in Wapoyei.  I logged him in and took him out to the Desert to take on the Chains of Flame on Epic Normal.  I knew the quest would take a good amount of time.  I made my way out there and summoned forth both of my owl bears and my onyx panther.  I also had with me a Shadowdancer hireling to take care of the traps.  Overall it was a long quest but I really didn’t have any issues.  One of my owlbears did get killed but that was because of the buggy AI where he got stuck in one of the traps.  Although the quest took a long amount of time to finish, I felt it was worth it when I netter well over 80,000 experience for the run.  By the time I finished it was well after midnight, so I called it a night.

Overall, the weekend was full of experience :).  Netting a large amount of experience from Delera’s and a good chunk from Chains of Flame was pretty rewarding.  I hope everybody else had a good weekend as well!!  I also wish folks a Happy Thanksgiving this week (for those in the US) and wish everybody some happy hunting.

Good Times Over the Past Week, May 26th to May 29th

This weeks questing activities were varied and fun .  The week started off with some runs during the night of Memorial day when I took Stoorage (Level 10 Fighter) into the capstone quest of the Sharn Syndidate Series, Come Out and Slay.  Stoorage happens to be one of my characters on my premium account and since I wasn’t grouped with anybody who could open the quest on elite, I had to run it on normal, hard, and elite.  Shortly after I completed my elite run, I joined up with Hellbanisher who was working in the Searing Heights exploring area and was having problems locating one of the explorer points, the Lone Tree.  So I popped in there with him and took him to his last explorer point.  Shortly there after he had to log out for the night so I then took Stoorage out into Three Barrel Cove and ran the quest, The Stones Run Red.  After having some fun with the ogres and mephits I called it a night myself.

Tuesday morning brought back the normal work routine and playing schedule, which meant my morning slayer run before work.  That morning I was scheduled to run Suppply but the game was down for some maintenance so instead I ran my Ragnar, my spirt shaman, in Neverwinters Nights II.  I finally finished the Fort Locke quests and made my way to High Cliff where I now need to prep to take on some lizardfolk.  At that point, I logged out and headed off to work.  When I got back home I logged on with Erdrique (Level 12 Druid).  I was planning on taking Erdrique into the next quest of the Threnal East Chain but I still had a minor slayer potion pot with about a half hour of time still on it.  So instead I headed off into the Red Fens and collected slayers until the slayer potion ran off.  After I ran through the Fens for a little while, I logged out for a little while.  After a few hours after dinner and spending some time with my wife, I logged back on with Wapoyei (Level 22 Cleric/Exalted Angel) and took him through VON 3 (The Jungle of Khyber) on Epic Normal and was pleasantly surprised at the smoothness of the run !!  After that I logged out for the night.

I logged back on for morning slayer run on Wednesday morning with Wapoyei (again).  As far as slayers are concerned, Wapoyei is working on the High Road.  I took Wapoyei up and down the passages of the High Road fighting a number of half-orcs and Netherese baddies and then logged out to head to work.  Later that afternoon, I logged back on with Erdrique who hit up the Red Fens once again and then headed out to take on the “original” vampire in The Church and the Cult.  I was initially worried about the traps in here on elite but I was able to bypass them pretty well and was able to make it to the vampire with little problems and to complete the quest.  After that run, I logged to spend the rest of the night with my wife.

Thursday morning saw me log in with Sludgge (Level 20 Rogue/Shadowdancer) who I took into the Ruins of Gianthold (Heroic) for some slayer in the Stormfist area.  After collecting a few slayers, I headed out to work.  Later that afternoon, I logged on with Hamllin (Level 9 Fighter) and took him into the quest, Dead Predators.  I had some fun tripping wight priests and cleaving through a huge mess of dread zombies :).  I logged out after that run and came back on with Berann (Level 7 Barbarian) who I took through Walk the Butcher’s Path, The Sunken Sewer, and the Baudry Cartamon Story Line (Protect Baudry’s Interest, Stop Hazadill’s Shipment, and Retrieve the Stolen Goods).  I had fun with Berann, who was wielding his acid of pure good falchion through countless scores of kobolds :).

So, as you can see, quite a diversity in runs from low levels, to middle levels, to an epic quest run.  Not a bad week at all :).  Thanks for reading everybody and happy hunting!!!

Look back at the week, May 12th to May 15th

My activity in DDO this week was a little abnormal because of my work trip to Arlington, VA from Monday through Wednesday.  I wanted to be continue my runs through the Crystal Cove, but my travels get my questing in the Crystal Cove and Smuggler’s Rest short .  Oh well, I’ll catch it again!!

The week did start off normally.  I was scheduled to bring on Containment (Level 3 Cleric) for my typical slayer run prior to work.  So I brought him in and took him into the Cerulean Hills.  He doesn’t have much more left before he maxes out that area and moves onto the Waterworks slayer area.  That was the extent of my question on Monday though.  After gathering a few runs, I packed up for my trip (including my computer) and headed to work for a half day and then after lunch I drove up to Arlington.  Once I got to Arlington, I unpacked and then went out to eat with a few of my colleagues.  I got back to the room at around 11 pm or so and then had problems picking up an internet signal.  Once I finally got access to the internet, I logged back in (remember I had brought my computer with me) but the hour was late so I only did some character maintenance with Erdrique (Level 11 Druid) and then called it a night.

Tuesday morning, I woke up early and logged on with Charlock (Leavel 13 Fighter) and brought him into Sorrowdusk Isle for some morning slayer fun prior to my meeting.  Charlock is making steady progress there and will soon be moving onto the Red Fens.  I then logged out and headed off to my meeting.  Once I got back from the meeting and worked out I logged on with Erdrique and took him through Tharashk Arena on elite.  That run went smoothly and shortly later I logged out with Erdrique and back in with Hamllin (Level 8 Fighter).  With Hamllin, I took on Mirra’s Sleepless Nights and the next part of the Delera’s Tomb story arc: Free Delera.  Both quests went well.  After those two runs, I brought on Charlock (Level 13 Fighter) and finished up the Sentinel Series by running the Tide Turns (although I still have to do Spies in the House).  So Tuesday was a pretty busy day, as I was trying to catch up on my schedule from my unexpected delays on Monday.  After I completed the Tide Turns I logged out and went to bed.

Wednesday morning I started the day with some slayer runs with Lorrikk (Level 11 Monk) and took him into Three Barrel Cove.  He only needs two more rares (the scrag and the scorpion) and about 50 more slayers before he maxes out that area and heads into Sorrowdusk Isle.  That was the only run I was able to get in that day, as I had to pack back up, check out of the hotel, head to the meeting, and then drive back home after the meeting was over.

Thursday, I started the day with Crawlller (Level 5 Ranger) and I took him into Tangleroot Gorge, his first time venturing into that area.  After wracking up a few slayers and explorer points, I logged out and didn’t log back in until I got back home from work prior to dinner.  I logged on with Hamllin and was joined by a new guildie, Jovanias, and we took on the Dead Predators on elite with ease.  After that run I had to log but later that night I logged back on with Erdrique and completed The Prisoner, In Need of Supplies, and  The Rescue.  As you can tell, Erdrique is still working on his level 8 quests.  After those runs it was late and time to head to bed.

So, the week was a little unusual with my trip interrupting my game flow this week.  I still managed to get a number of runs in though, however none of them were high level or in the Cove .  Time to get back on track for this weekend and next week!!

Questing over the weekend, March 28 to 30

The weekend runs started with some exploration with Hamllin (Level 7 Fighter) through the Waterworks Slayers.  Hamllin is nearly done with this slayer area and will be moving off to Tangleroot Gorge soon.  So after running the Waterworks Adventure area on Friday morning for about 20 minutes or so, I logged out to head to work.  I had a late day at work and didn’t log back into DDO for my typical daily “after work run” but did get back on Friday night.  I logged on with Erdrique (Level 8 Druid) and took him into Three Barrel Cove while I was waiting for a few other Crypt Crawlers to log on.  Shortly later I was joined by Okhamel and Bofadee and we talked the quests Ghost of a Chance and The Halls of Shan to Kor.  These were some of the last level 5 quests I needed to completed on elite.  We didn’t have any problems pillaging the dungeons for either quest.  After we blasted through the Halls of Shan to Kor, Bofadee logged out for the night and Okhamel and myself started on Delera’s Tomb and completed the quests The Mystery of Delera’s Tomb and The Missing Party.  After those runs we called it a night.

On Saturday, I did an early slayer run, unusual for me on a Saturday.  I took Hamllin back into the Waterworks slayers to get him closer to moving onto the next set.  I then logged out for awhile and watched a movie with my wife, Spider Man 3.  After that, I logged back in on Saturday night with Erdrique and headed into Three Barrel Cove to continue his slayer runs while I was waiting for Hellbanisher to finish up his quest.  Once Hellbanisher was done, he logged on with Hellshammer and we took on The Graverobber, Dead Predators, and Caged Trolls on elite.  After we knocked those few quests out we called it a night.

On Sunday, I logged with Crawlller (Level 4 Ranger), one of my four characters on my FTP Premium account.  He still needed to finish up the Baudry Cartamon Chain on elite.  To do that he only needed to finish up Retrieve the Stolen Goods.  So I took him in there and then brought him into Stealthy Repossession where I knocked it out on Normal, Hard, and Elite.  After those runs I had to call it a night to get some sleep for work on Monday.

So, I had a relatively light week last week and a light weekend.  But it was still good to get my game time.  This week is also starting to look like a relatively light week for my game time because my anniversary is on April 1st  🙂 and I have a few late afternoon meetings or appointments that will keep me from doing my afternoon runs.  But I will still be on for the weekend :).

Thanks for reading everybody and happy hunting!!!
