Another Set of Quest Runs, February 19 to 25

My questing this week was relatively light once again :(.  This was because of a few work related activities that kept me from logging in on Wednesday and Thursday.  Wednesday night is also my weekly date night with my wife so I don’t log into the game for a typical night run but I usually get a chance to run a slayer prior to dinner.  This week though, an ex-coworker of mine retired and his retirement party was on Wednesday and Thursday I was traveling all day and was just too tired to log in.

But, I did get some questing in during the rest of the week.  On Sunday, I logged on with Kanndar (Level 14 Paladin) and I took him into the Ruins of Threnal.  I was running a little short on time and decided to go ahead and complete the set of quests known as the Giant Caves: The Giants’ Lair, The Giants; Supplies, and The Giant Lieutenants.  During these runs, Kanndar picked up a monster manual deed for hill giant hunter which netted him 1,179 experience.

Monday, I took Hamllin (Level 20 Fighter/Fatesinger) into the Ruins of Gianthold (Heroic) while I was playing during my weekly digital pen and paper session.  Hamllin collected 80 Storm Fist slayers, 99 Storm Heart slayers, and 116 Storm Eye slayers.  He also came across the rare encounters Zakaya Master Ragath, Expedition Leader Brazwold, Tarmer Stonehoof, Lord Cirrus, and Clan Chief Ogh.

I started off on Tuesday by dual boxing with Crawlller (Level 8 Ranger) and Cannock (Level 8 Druid) and did a slayer run in Three Barrel Cove.  They collected 104 slayers during that run and came across the rare encounters for Strinati, Dybesh Relix, Chortle, Brine, and Ithun Orenah.  After that run, I logged on with Erdrique (Level 11 Bard) and Sttollen (Level 12 Rogue)  and I took them into the quest Stromvauld’s Mine.  While in there they completed the optional objectives to slay Milos Baran, Boro Charidan, and Degren Marzat.  For my nightly run, I logged on with Charlock (Level 16 Fighter) and I was joined by Hellfiend and we decided to tackle the Slave Pits of the Undercity on heroic elite.  Charlock collected two monster manual deeds, one for ghast hunter (9,439 experience) and one for rat hunter (1,887 experience).  I’m still learning that quest and so is Hellfiend so it isn’t too surprising to learn that we got roasted in the massive fire trap room.  So we didn’t get the quest completed but we’ll knock it out next time.

Friday night, I logged on with Erdrique and Sttollen, once again, and this time I took into the Xorian Cipher.  To get to the Xorian Cipher, I first completed The Path to Madness on elite and in so doing, Erdrique collected nine mysterious remnants.  While in the Xorian Cipher, Erdrique picked up a monster manual deed for scorrow hunter for 2,260 experience.  Erdrique and Sttollen completed the optional objectives for finding and entering the vault, sealing all of the rifts, and taking out Deathfang, Mastart Markud, Urtyan Markud, and the Vault Guardian.  In the vault, Sttollen picked up a mythic version of the Chaosgarde and a Reaver’s Ring.  Meanwhile, Erdrique picked up a Planar Gird and a mythic version of the Chaos Band.  Erdrique also collected 12 mysterious remnants.

To close out the week, Erdrique and Sttollen started things out by dual boxing Sorrowdusk Isle.  They collected 114 slayers and they both hit the 200 slayer mark as well as finding the rare encounters: Saate, Thanolin, Barxer, and Noozer.  A little while later, I logged on with Kolll (Level 22 Ranger/Shiradi Champion) to get the data I need for my monster manual analysis but after I did that, I took him out into  Tangleroot Gorge because I still have yet to finish that explorer are for him.  While out there, Kolll picked up a monster manual deed for wolf exterminator II and received 1,650 experience.  He also took out Gharjat, Jarak, and Silkweave.  Later on Saturday night, I logged on with Erdrique and Sttollen again and I was joined by Sornea.  I have been trying to get some help with the Temple of Elemental Evil Part 1 and this time I had it :).  So we headed to the Hall of Heroes and then to the Temple.  Erdrique picked up another monster manual deed, this one human exterminator III for 1,695 experience.  He also picked up 27 mysterious remnants.  We had a few deaths but we did complete the quest and completed the optional objectives for 10, 25, 50, 100, and 200 slayers.  After that we called it a night.

It is time to go hunting in the Temple of Elemental Evil.

So overall the week was a little shorter than usual but still productive.  I was really grateful for Sornea’s help in getting through the Temple of Elemental Evil.  Now all I need to do is get through the second part :).  Thanks for reading everybody and happy hunting in DDO!!

The Week in Review, February 5th to 11th

Taking a look back at my quests this week, I realized that it was a lighter than normal week for me.  I didn’t kicked off my quest runs until Monday.  I started out with a slayer run where I took Kanndar (Level 13 Paladin) and Stoorage (Level 15 Fighter) into the Red Fens for some slayers during one of my many dual boxing efforts.  During that run, Kanndar picked up 99 slayers while Stoorage collected 123 (Stoorage was running a minor or a lesser slayer count boost).  They also came across the rare encounters: Kar Xyr, Vyx Ka, and Gorger.  Shortly after that run, I logged on with Hamllin (Level 20 Fighter/Shadowdancer) and I took him into the quest Demon Assault on heroic elite.  In the past, I have had a number of difficulties in here, even at level 20, because of my cleric hireling being just swarmed.  In this run, I actually did complete it however it was pretty rough.  I  suffered eight deaths and had to re-enter twice.  But it is now done!!  I also picked up a monster manual deed for Glaberzou hunter.  To close out the night, I logged on with Crawlller (Level 8 Ranger) and Cannock (Level 8 Druid) and I thought them into Three Barrel Cove for some simple explorers, slayers, and rares because I was also playing our digital table top game.  They both picked up 230 slayers with Crawlller hit his 750 slayer mark.  They came across the rare encounters for Ilmarin Tychonn, Ithun Orenah, Vitia,  Thrum, Brine, Dulse, and Strinati.  Cannock looted the Sky Pirate’s Dagger during that run.  I called it a night after that.

I logged on Harrgon (Level 11 Favored Soul) and Suppply (Level 11 Paladin) and I took them hunting into Sorrowdusk Isle.  They collected 116 slayers and Harrgon picked up the rest of the explorer points.  They also came across Barxer and Saate.  After than run, I logged on with Erdrique (Level 11 Bard) and Sttollen (Level 12 Rogue) and I took them into Tangleroot Gorge and completed the Assault on Splinterskull story arc by completing The Last Move: The Way to Yarkuch and The Last Move: Yarkuch’s Last Stand.  I completed the optional objective for slaying Warmaster Muurj.  To close out the night, I logged with Larrs (Level 21 Bard/Fatesinger) and I took him into Tomb of the Wizard King on epic normal.  Larrs picked up a monster manual deed for clay golum hunter (2,350 experience) and he also picked up scrolls for the Mummy Wrappings and Dustless Boots.  He also collected 52 fragments of the Token of the Twelve and received 11 commendations of valor as a quest reward.  He also completed the optional objectives for slaying all of the guardians, the eternal gatekeepers, and breaking into the vault.

I didn’t log into game again until Thursday when I dual boxed with Cantlin (Level 13 Sorcerer) and Stoorage and took them into the Red Fens for some slayers.  Cantlin picked up a monster manual deed for sahaugin exterminator (353 experience) and hit the 100 slayer mark.  Cantlin picked up 61 slayers while Stoorage received 76.  They also came across Sharkbiter, Beacon, and Riptide.  I then logged on with Erdrique and Sttollen and dual boxed again and took them through The Grey Moon’s Den: The Trollish Scourge.  They collected nine slayers on the way to the quest and Erdrique picked up two monster manual deeds: troll exterminator I (423 experience) and troll hunter (2,034 experience).  They also collected the optional objectives for defeating all of the ogre collaborators and Shaman Herpostaw.  I didn’t get a chance to log in that night and didn’t log back in until Saturday.

On Saturday, I spent quite a bit of time working on some Cannith Crafting with Erdrique.  By the time I was done, I only had enough time to run one quest.  So I logged on Sttollen as well and took them both into Gwylan’s Stand on elite.  They made it through the quest without any issues but they only picked up one optional named monster: Maneater.  Sttollen did pick up the Roguebane Breastplate and they both picked up Gwylan’s Blade.

So overall it was a lighter week but the spread of quest runs was nice.  Had some runs through a few explorer areas, an epic quest run, and some more quests for Hammy and Erdrique.  Now time to move onto next week :)!!!  Thanks for reading everybody and happy hunting!!

A Look Back, Quest Runs March 18 to March 20

This particular weekend was a most unusual weekend for me.  I was only able to get any questing done on Friday.  The rest of the weekend I didn’t get a chance to log to do anything but general maintenance for my characters.  I didn’t log into DDO on Saturday because that was the third Saturday of the month I spend that night with my wife for our weekend date night.  Meanwhile, Sunday I was just working hard on completing some stuff for work, unfortunately, which didn’t allow me to get my usual questing activity in :(.

However, with that said, Friday was a really active day for me in DDO.  I started the day by taking Kanndar (Level 13 Paladin) and Stoorage (Level 14 Fighter) into Sorrowdusk Isle for some morning slayers.  Stoorage already has this area maxed out but I didn’t have another character within Kanndar’s range on my premium account that would allow them to get credit for the slayers as I was dual boxing with my VIP and premium account.  Kanndar picked up 61 more slayers and completed all of the rare encounters after defeating Vermilo, Kremen, Furley, and Teargon.  In the afternoon, I logged on with Hamllin (Level 18 Fighter) and I took him back out into the Sands of Menechtarun for some more of his slayers.  I focused primarily on the scorrow area.  While out there, Hammy picked up 73 scorrow slayers and took out Volrune the Curate and Wokran-Kull.

Stoorage taking out the gargoyles for Kanndar.

Friday night was the most active for me.  As typical, I brought on Erdrique (Level 28 Rogue/Grandmaster 0f Flowers) and I took him out into the Demonweb.  I was joined by Hellorcish and we made our way to the quest Reclaiming the Rift.  As we made our way through the Demonweb I piced up another 11 drow, 24 spiders, and seven fiend slayers.  I also picked up messages 5, 36, 10, 11, 12, 40, 13, 15, 21, 23, and 24.  I also hit the 50 spider and 25 drow slayer mark.  Helloricish and Erdrique ran Reclaiming the Rift on epic hard.  As we made our way through the quest, Erdrique picked up six mysterious remnants and Embrace of the Spider Queen.  We completed the optional objective for completing each test only once.  I did get killed once during one of the tests.  For a quest award I picked up 48 commendations of Valor and for a story arc award I picked up the Planar Focus of Prowess.  With the completion of Reclaiming the Rift, I was also able to pick up the End of Ebberron Saga reward.  I picked up the guild renown, which netted the Crypt Crawlers another 27,300 renown :).

Hellorcish called it a night after the run through Reclaiming the Rift but I went ahead and started the Druid’s Deep storyline.  Erdrique started out by heading into the quest Outbreak.  I didn’t have any issues making my way through the Eveningstar War Hospital.  I was able to complete the optional objective to cure at least five patients.  For a quest award, I picked up 49 Commendations of Valor.  I then headed over to the next quest, Overgrowth.  I didn’t have any problems making my way through Uthe’s Lodge either and the only noteworthy thing I was able to pick up in this quest was four mysterious remnants.  I picked up another 49 Commendations of Valor as a quest reward.  After completing Overgrowth and taking time to do some maintenance, I called it a night which also happened to be the end of my weekend runs :(.

Although the weekend was cut short because of work issues, I still got quite a bit of done.  I was able to finish up the Demonweb storyarc and to start the storyarc for Druid’s Deep.  Thanks for reading everybody and happy hunting in the Demonweb.

Questing into the Second Week of March, Quest Runs March 7th to 10th

During the second week of March, my questing was pretty much with mid-level characters or epic level characters.  It was also an abnormal week for me because I had to do some traveling for work to get some management training so I didn’t get as much questing in as I typically would.  I started out the week with my typical slayer run on Monday morning.  I took Wapoyei (Level 24 Cleric/Divine Crusader) into the High Road.  While out there I collected another six slayers and defeated the specter, The Eternal Wanderer.  Needless to say I didn’t have a whole lot of time to play that morning.  In the afternoon, I logged on with Hamllin (Level 18 Fighter) and I took him out into the Sands of Menechtarun for some slayers.  During this session, Hamllin focused on the gnolls and collected another 62 slayers in that area as well as taking down Stinkpelt.  That night, I logged on with Suppply (Level 10 Paladin) and Harrgon (Level 11 Favored Soul) and I took them into Searing Heights to run the quest Bargain of Blood.  It was another dual boxing session and I wanted to get my revenge from my horrible attempt at Bargain of Blood from the night before.  On the way out to the quest, I picked up another 13 slayers for Harrgon.  In Bargain of Blood, I was able to the complete the optional objectives for destroying the assassination logbook, meeting up with the House Deneith Party, and freeing the slaves.  After completing Bargain of Blood, and getting my revenge, I then headed off and to do the quest Under the Big Top.  As I made my way through the quest, I only picked up one optional objective and killed Maz’il’tilnik.  In the end chest, Harrgon picked up The Big Top and Diamond of +5 Hide while Suppply picked up the Antique Greataxe as a story arc reward for completing the Phiarlan Carnival Series.

On Tuesday morning, I was scheduled to play Neverwinter Nights II instead of the usual DDO.  I took my level 7 Spirit Shaman Ragnar further into the Warehouse in the Dock District of Neverwinter City.  For my afternoon run, I took Erdrique (Level 28 Rogue/Grandmaster of Flowers) into Sands of Menechtarun for some more slayers.  I also wanted to get something quick in before I headed out to Raleigh for my training.  While out there, I collected 57 gnoll slayers and came across Den Mother Fheena in the Windlasher Village.  That was all I could get in on Tuesday as I left shortly after that slayer run.

Erdrique making his way to the desert.

I took my computer with me on my training trip in Raleigh and was able to get a few more runs in during the week.  On Wednesday, I logged on with Kolll (Level 22 Ranger/Shiradi Champion) and I took him into The Lords of Dust on epic hard.  Kolll picked up 54 fragments of the Token of the Twelve, eight mysterious remnants, the Golden Guile, a monster manual deed for Rhaksasha Hunter for 2,260 experience, and 17 commendations of valor as a quest reward.  However, that was the only quest I was able to complete.

Kolll taking down the cultists in Lords of Dust.

For Thursday,  I started out the day by taking Sludgge (Level 22 Rogue/Shadowdancer) into the Ruins of Gianthold (Heroic) for some slayers.  Sludgge collected 51 Stormheart slayers, two Stormfist slayers, and one Stormeye slayer.  He also defeated the ogre mage, Uthger Runetusk.  That night I logged on with Kanndar (Level 13 Paladin) and Stoorage (Level 13 Fighter) and I took them both into the Tharashk Arena (VON 1) for another session of dual boxing.  The completed the optional objectives for defeating Angog the Champion, Myr’dril, the drunken ogres,  troll enforcers, Smashjaw, and Grogan.  I picked up a number of monster manual deeds during this run.  Kanndar picked up two monster manual deeds, one for minotaur hunter and another for kobold hunter, each awarding him 446 experience.  Stoorage collected a troll hunter monster manual deed for 1,943 experience.  Stoorage also looted a Diamond of +3 Intelligence.  That run closed out my activity for the week.

So, although it was an “off” week for me, I still had a number of interesting runs.  Thanks for reading everybody and happy hunting!!

Doing Some Risia Crafting

This past weekend, after I collected the number of coins I had set as my goal for this past set of Risia Ice Games, I went into the Harbor with a few of my characters and decided to do some crafting.  I had five icy burst kits (Recipes 3, 4, and 5, along with the necessary motes of winter) to apply to some randomly generated weapons.  I decided to upgrade a weapon for Kanndar (Level 13 Paladin), Kolll (Level 22 Ranger/Shiradi Champion), Lorrikk (Level 13 Monk), Larrs (Level 21 Bard/Fatesinger), and Charlock (Level 16 Fighter).  I upgraded a longsword for Kanndar to use at higher levels, a +6 Acid Longsword of Steam.  He won’t be able to use it until level 22 but it will sure be nice :).  For Kolll, I updated a +2 Acid Composite Shortbow of Axiomatic Burst.  I wish it was a longbow but this is still a nice little twink weapon, especially with his ability to use his imbued arcane arrows and as well as the plethora of elemental arrows he receives from my other characters.  For Lorrikk, I had a pair of +3 Flaming burst handwraps of lacerating.  It will be fun to have fire and icy burst effects on the same pair of handwraps and having an enhancement effect that is longer available (lacerating is one of the effects that came out with Menace of the Underdark is no longer dropping on random loot 😦 ).  Larrs, he had an interesting longsword to upgrade, a +1 forceful longsword of greater poison.  Although it is only a level 14 weapon, it will still be a nice little item to play around with.  The last weapon I upgraded was a bastard sword for Charlock, a +4 holy bastard sword of lacerating .

Kanndar’s longsword is now enhanced with festival icy burst.

Kolll’s shortbow before and after its new enhancement.

Lorrikk is going to have fun with his twinked out handwraps.

Larrs also got a new toy to play with.

Last by not least, Charlock also gets a one of his swords boosted.

I also took the time to create a few glaciation weapons as well for my druid Cannock (Level 8).  The first weapon I enhanced was an acid sickle to have glaciation 54 on it to help Cannock with his cold spells.  The second weapon I enhanced was a frost scimitar, which I thought was a fun little lore item to have glaciation on a frost weapon but this I upgraded to glaciation 78 making it a level 16 weapon.  These weapons will be rather interesting for Cannock.

Cannock’s new and enhanced sickle with glaciation.

It will be a little while before Cannock can get a chance to use this.

I also created two other items for Cannock, an eternal wand of ray of frost and a snow elemental gem.  The snow elemental gem will be interesting for Cannock to use.

Cannock know has an Eternal Wand of Ray of Frost.

I hope everybody else had a chance to do some crafting with the Risia Ice Games.  Thanks for reading everybody and happy hunting!!

Gathering Some Epic Quests, Quest Runs January 29th to January 31st

I kicked off the weekend by taking Sludgge (Level 22 Rogue/Shadowdancer) into the Ruins of Gianthold (Heroic).  Sludgge is working on gathering his 1,500 Stormheart Slayers.  During this quick morning session, he picked up 63 Stormheart slayers, 2 Stormeye slayers, and 1 Stormfist slayer.  He currently stands at 1,295 Stormheart slayers.  During this run he picked up one Ancient Dragon Relic from defeating Lord Cirrus.  In the afternoon, I took Hamllin (Level 17 Fighter) into the challenge, Lava Caves: Colossal Crystal.  Hamllin completed the collecting of one progenitor crystal and the clearing out of the giant arena.  When the challenge was completed, he was awarded 284 Jade Scorpions.  That was the only afternoon run I was able to complete.  On Friday night, I logged on with Erdrique (Level 25 Rogue/Legendary Dreadnaught).  After checking in with the fellow Crypt Crawlers, I then headed off for the Red Fens to complete Into the Deep on epic hard.  I was expecting on having some trouble with crowd control in here and basically getting overwhelmed but that turned out not to be a problem at all.  While I was making my way through quest, Erdrique picked up a Water Elemental Hunter monster manual deed and picked up over 4,500 experience for it.  He also gathered a Scroll of the Greatclub of the Scrag.  I completed the optionals for reducing the loyalists forces (one times), the elimination of the scrag slaves, and defeated the Hezerou in the underwater pit.  In the end chest I gathered a Shard of the Raven’s Sight.  All told, I also picked up another 46 Fragments of the Token of the Twelve.

Sludgge collecting Stormheart slayers in the Gianthold.

Hamllin clearing the path of drow for the kobolds.

Erdrique battling the sahaugin in Into the Deep.

After making way through the capstone of the Red Fens, I then started on the Vault of Night chain on epic hard.  For this set of runs, I was joined by Friedrice and we headed off to do the Tharashk Arena on epic hard.  Again, I was expecting on having some issues with being over whelmed during the arena fight.  However, that didn’t materialize either.  Once we entered the arena we headed straight off for a set of gates and as soon as they opened up we rushed in and took out the enemy combatants.  As we made our way to the arena, through the arena fight, and to complete the quest we completed the objectives for defeating Angog, Durge’s contact (Myr’dril), took out the drunken ogres, killed the troll enforcers, defeated Smashjaw, and defeated Grogan.  The only thing of note that I picked up was 54 Fragments of the Token of the Twelve.  After we made it through the Tharashk Arena, we then headed to The Prisoner on epic hard.  The Prisoner was easier to make it through than the Tharashk Arena.  I picked up another monster manual deed while we were questing through The Prisoner, achieving quori exterminator I.  I also picked up a medium Eberron dragonshard fragment from a collectible, received a scroll for Stonemeld Plate, and picked up 46 Fragments of the Token of the Twelve.  We also completed the optionals for killing the arcane oozes, Ingstoldt, his pests, and the gargoyle guardians.  We both called it a night after that run through.

Erdrique and Friedrice battling in the Tharashk Arena.

Erdrique making his way through the maze in the Prisoner.

On Saturday, I did some Risia Ice Game jumping with Kolll (Level 22 Ranger/Shiradi Champion), who happens to be my default jumper, and picked up a couple purple coins.  Later that night, I logged back on with Erdrique and I took him into The Jungles of Khyber on epic hard.  The Jungle of Khyber is known for the large number of optional objectives it contains.  During this run, I completed the optional objectives for defeating Drinto Luridae, Blackheart Ambassador, Wumat Luridae, Chactar Luridae, and Huarn Luridae.  I also picked up  five mysterious remnants and 71 Fragments of the Token of the Twelve.  After that run, I headed over to Haywire Foundry and ran that one on epic hard as well.  While questing through Haywire Foundry I completed the optional objectives for defeating the elementals, RC-1, RC-2, disabling the flame jets, and defeating 10 mithral defenders while escaping.  I also picked up a scroll for the Cloak of the Silver concord, 5 mysterious remnants, and 60 Fragments of the Token of the Twelve.  Neither quest caused me any issues on epic hard.  After running through Haywire Foundry, I called it a night.

Kolll preparing to participate in the Risia Ice Games.

Unfortunately I didn’t get as much done as I would have liked to on Sunday.  However, I did I get another opportunity to dual box :).  I was originally scheduled to play Kanndar (Level 13 Paladin).  So I also logged on with Stoorage (Level 14 Fighter) from my premium account and paired them up and took them out into Sorrowdusk Isle.  Kanndar is currently working on that explorer area and the Cult of the Six story arc.  I took them both through lower Sorrowdusk Isle and into upper Sorrowdusk Isle and ran the The Temple Outpost: Libram of the Six on elite.  While making our way through the explorer area, I cam across Teargon and Furley and collected 56 slayers for Kanndar.

Taking on the slimes in the Temple Outpost.

So those were my runs and activities over the weekend.  I actually gathered enough experience with Erdrique to take level 26 but haven’t done it quite yet.  I might go ahead and level him up but I was originally thinking of keeping that level “banked.”  Although, I don’t believe it really matters.  I still have quite a ways until I hit level 30.  Overall though, it was a good and fun weekend.  I hope everybody else had a great weekend as well!  Thanks for reading everybody and happy hunting in DDO!!

Hitting up More Quests, January 4th to January 7th

Well, at least in terms of questing schedules, things have started to get back to the normal routine.  With the holidays now behind me, my typical questing schedule resumed where I run some slayers for about 10 to 30 minutes prior to heading out to work in the morning, then getting in a quest run or a slayer run in after I get home from work and hitting the gym, and then regular quest running each night, excluding Wednesday nights and the third Saturday night of the week which are reserved as date nights.  So, on Monday, January 4th (since I’m a little behind here…) I logged on first thing in the morning with Kanndar (Level 13 Paladin) and with Suppply (level 10 Paladin).  I was scheduled to play Kanndar but also took the opportunity to log in Suppply for another dual boxing session.  However, Kanndar is still working on his Sorrowdusk Isle slayer zone, which is fine, but that area is a level 11 area and since Suppply was three levels lower than Kanndar and still within range of the full experience award and Kanndar being two levels higher than area, Supply wound up being power leveled and didn’t advance in any slayers or get any experience, although I did get a few chests with him.  In the afternoon, I really wanted to continue to work on upgrading Erdrique’s Ring of the the Stalker and Spare Hand from the Cannith Challenges so I took Erdrique (Level 25 Rogue/Primal Avatar) into Dr. Rushmore’s Mansion: Picture Portals to get some Epic Jeweled Goblet ingredients.  Later than night, while waiting for our digital pen and paper session to begin, I logged on with Cantlin (Level 13 Sorcerer) and with Stoorage (Level 14 Fighter).  It was another opportunity to dual box and since I was scheduled to play Cantlin I used his quest needs to determine what to run so I headed off into Devil’s Assault on hard.  Darkgear was also logged on that night and volunteered to help me out.  I was kind of worried about this quest since Cantlin is a Fire Savant but we really didn’t have many issues here at all.  I’m sure doing this quest on elite will be harder.  After that run, I took care of some maintenance and then logged out for the night.  Unfortunately we never did get everything situated to run the pen and paper game on Monday.

Cantlin and Dark taking care of the devil’s in Devil’s Assault.

Tuesday started out by taking Harrgon (Level 11 Favored Soul) and Suppply into the Searing Heights.  As you can tell, I took the advantage of dual boxing once again.  Since both characters are working on this area and since Suppply was only a single level lower than Harrgon, both characters were getting advancement in this area.  In the afternoon, I logged on with Hamllin (Level 17 Fighter) and continued with his endless runs of slayers in the Sands of Menechtarun.  That night, I logged on with Tuhnn (Level 15 Bladeforged) and I was joined by Darkgear.  Tuhnn also happened to be working on some slayers and quests in the Sands of Menechtarun so we headed out to the desert and made our way through the quest, The Chamber of Raiyum, better known as the Tomb of the Wizard King.  We had little difficulty making our way through the quest on elite and we actually encountered Raiyum during our first tower.  We still stayed in the quest and defeated the Jackal and the Lion as well so we could get the extra optional experience and to get to the treasure room.  After that, we called it a night.

Dual boxing again in the morning, on Wednesday I took Cantlin and Stoorage into Sorrowdusk Isle for my slayer runs.  Stoorage has the area maxed out but still can get some experience from the rare encounters and not to mention to loot whatever chests I find which also gives me the opportunity to loot more guild renown for the Crypt Crawlers!! In the afternoon, I logged on with Erdrique and I took him back into House Cannith and ran another iteration of Dr.Rushmore’s Mansion: Picture Portals.  That was the last of my question on Wednesday.

On Thursday, I logged on with Larrs (Level 21 Bard/Fatesinger) and I took him into the King’s Forest for some slayers.  It felt a little strange not dual boxing 🙂 but I don’t have any of my Premium account characters higher than level 14, yet :).  In the afternoon, I took Hamllin back out into the Sands of Menechtarun.  That night, I logged on with Rimuldar (Level 23 Wizard/Draconic Incarnation) I continued with his quest runs into Sschindylryn and I took him through the quest House of Broken Chains on epic normal.  After working my way through that vicious drow house and freeing a bunch of slayers and starting a mini-revolt, I then headed off to try House of Death Undone.  Unfortunately, I ran out of time dealing with the necromancers and their zombie reincarnations.  I’ll have to take Rimuldar back in next time.

So, the week wasn’t a bad one at all.  Things started to settle back down to the normal routine.  I had some nice mid-level questing this week and a nice set of epic runs as well.  Thanks for reading everybody and happy hunting in Sschindylryn!!
